Q: i have had chicks, but i always got them from a store. do i need more? i have never had just 2 i dont know what they are
A: Not neccissarily. Only if you want to hatch more chcikens or want more eggs. But 2 of them are fine. Its also saves you $ as well since feed is getting more expensive. If 1 is a cockerel/rooster and you have 1 pullet/hen then you may need a coulp more hens because the roo can over mate the he causing injury to her. Its your choice, and how much time you have on your hands ad the amount of acres you have.
